Cook Eat Paleo

I recently came across Cook Eat Paleo through Pinterest and have tried a couple of the smoothie recipes. The blog is run by a woman named Lisa Wells. The layout of her blog is incredibly simple and easy to navigate. She has links at the top to help readers find exactly what they're looking for on her blog, like recipes. Her recipe posts are well-organized and have the ingredient list and steps at the bottom of the post, with a couple pictures of the dish and a short description, side notes, etc. at the top. The recipe posts are not cluttered up with pictures and descriptions of each step as you scroll through, which I've seen on many recipe blogs. Her blog makes me realize that if I want my blog to be read and enjoyed by others, I should keep my posts fairly short and simple, with a few eye-catching photos. The only weakness that I see on Cook Eat Paleo is really more of a personal preference of mine. She doesn't have a photo and short bio on the side of the page, but she does have an "About" link at the top which takes you to a page with her photo and bio. I personally prefer to see the photo and short bio on the side of someone's blog because it makes a blog seem more personable when I can see what the blogger looks like as I read their posts.

Casual. Simple. Real.

Hi. I'm Kristin. This is my blog. I will be blogging about everything and nothing, about being a twenty-something unsure about the future, learning how to be an adult, and the lessons I have learned and continue to learn in this strange thing we call life. I will probably throw in some rants and opinions along the way about any little thing that I feel warrants a rant. Some posts will be full of humor and sarcasm, some may get a bit emotional, and some may be a combination of funny and serious, like dark comedy. Most importantly, I will be keeping it casual, simple and real.
